Subsets

Subsets are pre-determined set of members or customized member lists to facilitate certain operational performance. Subsets can greatly reduce the number of formulas that needs to be written by referring formulas to a subset rather than referring to the many constituent members. Maintenance of subsets are particularly useful when working with an extensive list of Dimension members but often times only needs to pull or view a certain group of members.
