Welcome to the Hands-on Introduction to OLAP

This hands-on introduction to OLAP technology uses analytical database software to create a multidimensional (a.k.a. OLAP) database.  This software is offered by our sponsor, PARIS Technologies. It is part of their mission to empower people to use OLAP technology, which we find robust and fascinating!

In this lesson, you’ll get an overview of OLAP technology and how it can be applied in a business setting. We will also introduce the key topics, like “Multidimensionality” and “Cubes.”

Step 1 – Confirm that you have installed and registered your PowerExcel Personal software. We recommend using the same email address for the software registration as you used for this course.
